Choose a puzzle

  1. Chariot on the first rank

    Find a square on the king’s rank where the chariot cannot be captured.

  2. Chariot and soldier teamwork

    Bring the edge chariot onto the king’s first rank.

  3. Chariot in a palace corner

    Move the chariot to the other lower corner of the palace.

  4. A horse protects the central chariot

    Find the piece protecting a chariot placed in the palace center.

  5. Two screens for one cannon

    Identify the screen used to move, then the screen used to give check.

  6. A soldier screens the cannon

    What attack opens if the cannon jumps to the other side of the soldier?

  7. A horse becomes a cannon screen

    Place the horse between the cannon and the Han king.

  8. Cannon and horse teamwork

    Find a horse square that screens the cannon and attacks both vertical exits.

  9. Elephant, horse and facing kings

    Check both elephant blocking points, the horse’s attacks and the open king file.
