Merge equal numbers and reach 2048.

Rules and controls

Move tiles with arrows, WASD, screen buttons or swipes. Equal numbers merge once per move: [2,2,2,2] becomes [4,4,0,0] when moved left, scoring 8. A new tile appears only after a valid move. Reach 2048, then continue if you like. The game ends when no moves remain.

Beginner strategy

Keep your largest tile near a chosen corner and arrange smaller tiles in descending order nearby. Leave empty squares so you can recover from an awkward spawn. Before swiping, check the order of merges: [2,2,4,4] left becomes [4,8,0,0], not [8,4,0,0]. In the daily challenge, every valid move uses one of your 50 turns, so plan useful merges.
