Turn the board in your favor.

Rules and controls

Choose default 10×10, large 12×12 or standard 8×8. Black starts. Sandwich opposing discs to flip them. A player with no legal move passes automatically. When neither can move, the side with more discs wins. Changing boards starts a new game.

Beginner strategy

A corner cannot be flipped. Be cautious with the diagonal square beside an empty corner (X-square) and the adjacent edge squares (C-squares): a careless move may give the corner away. Count your opponent's legal replies, not only the stones you gain now. Near the end, calculate the remaining moves and final count.
