Minesweeper

A safe first click, a daily board and classic Minesweeper.

Rules and controls

Numbers show how many mines touch a cell in the eight neighboring directions. Reveal every safe cell to win; revealing a mine ends the board. The first click and its neighbors are safe. Right-click, press F or use Flag mode to mark suspected mines.

Beginner strategy

Start near the center to open a wider area. Compare overlapping number neighborhoods: when a number already touches that many flags, its other closed neighbors are safe; when its remaining mine count equals its closed neighbors, all are mines. Solve every certain move before guessing.
