Black starts on an 8×8 board. Each move must trap at least one opponent stone between the new stone and another of your stones along a straight line. Flip every trapped line. If you have no legal move, you pass automatically. When neither side can move, the side with more stones wins.
Beginner strategy
A corner cannot be flipped. Be cautious with the diagonal square beside an empty corner (X-square) and the adjacent edge squares (C-squares): a careless move may give the corner away. Count your opponent's legal replies, not only the stones you gain now. Near the end, calculate the remaining moves and final count.
Game mode
Two-player mode means sharing this device, not online multiplayer.
Saving and deletion
Recent games and regular 2048 progress and best score stay in this browser without automatic expiry. Daily records retain the last 30 days. Gomoku, Reversi and tic-tac-toe progress is lost when closing or refreshing. Records do not transfer automatically between devices or domains.
