Black moves first; White gets 7.5 komi. Capture opposing groups with no liberties. Suicide and repeated board positions (positional superko) are forbidden. Two passes open dead-stone review. Score by area: live stones plus surrounded empty points.
This uses area scoring, not Japanese/Korean territory scoring. Captures are shown for reference and are not added to the final area score.
Review dead stones · score
Tap a dead group to mark it, and tap again to undo. If life and death are uncertain, resume play.
The preview below uses the dead stones you marked. Life and death are not judged automatically.
Each player confirms after agreeing on dead stones and score. Changing dead stones resets both confirmations.
Game mode
You play Black first. The computer is a beginner practice opponent. The beginner computer accepts a scoring review when you pass. Resume play if the board is unfinished.
